Calefacció per terra radiantOrihuela Costa is a coastal region located on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante. It is located close to the border with Murcia, close to La Manga and the beautiful Mar Menor. Despite its name, it is actually about 20 kilometers from the main tourist center of Orihuela. The region covers several seaside resorts such as Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Villamartín, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras. Orihuela Costa is an ideal destination for those looking for a family holiday on the beach, with 16 kilometers of diverse coastline. There are several Blue Flag beaches. Orihuela Costa is an excellent option for a golf holiday, with three magnificent golf courses in the region: Villamartín, Campoamor and Las Ramblas. Orihuela Costa enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection from the surrounding mountains from the cold northerly winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and the average temperature is easily above 20 degrees. In 1986, the World Health Organization recommended the area's climate as one of the most equitable in the world: neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. On average, it can boast 325 days of sunshine a year, making it an ideal year-round destination.
