Costa de Canyamel overlooks the beautiful bay of the same name with a fine sandy beach, near which you will find restaurants, shopping facilities and medical care. Also well known and worth seeing are the stalactite caves named after the nearby artists’ town of Artà. In general, many places on Mallorca’s east coast as well as several selected golf courses can be reached in a short time—whether Canyamel Golf, Pula Golf, the Club de Golf de Son Servera, Capdepera Golf, or La Reserva Rotana Golf near Manacor. Good restaurants and nightlife can be found not only in Canyamel itself but also in nearby towns such as Capdepera and Artà or in coastal resorts.
