Description
In one of the most scenic and sought-after locations on Lake Orta, this elegant villa offers an immediately captivating emotion: a wide, spectacular view over the lake’s waters, Omegna, Mount Mottarone, and the outline of the surrounding mountains. Set in peace and quiet, the property is ideal both as a main residence and as a refined holiday home. The entrance, through a charming porch, leads to the ground floor, where a bright living area opens up, dominated by the fireplace—the heart of the home—perfect for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere on winter evenings. The open-plan kitchen blends harmoniously with the spacious dining area, creating a convivial and functional space. From the living room you access a panoramic balcony: the ideal place to start the day with breakfast in the morning light or to be enchanted by sunset colors. The ground-floor sleeping area includes a spacious double bedroom with a practical walk-in closet and a private balcony overlooking a view that accompanies every awakening. A second bedroom completes the floor, together with an elegant bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower. On the first floor there is a large open space, served by a second bathroom, which can easily be converted into a comfortable single bedroom, thereby increasing the home’s functionality and value. The charming mezzanine, already set up with two beds, provides a welcoming space for guests or children, helping create a home that adapts to the needs of the whole family. The true jewel of the property, however, is the magnificent panoramic terrace: a space of rare beauty where the eye wanders between the blue of Lake Orta and the green of the mountains. Here every moment becomes special, from sunrise breakfasts to sunset aperitifs, to summer dinners under the starry sky. This exclusive area also offers enormous potential: installing panoramic glazing would allow it to be transformed into an elegant winter garden to enjoy year-round, while continuing to take in the extraordinary view even in colder seasons. The property is completed by a convenient garage and a spacious cellar on the basement level. In the courtyard it is also possible to create a charming private garden which, once enclosed and furnished with a table and seating, would become an additional corner of peace to relax surrounded by nature. This villa is an exclusive retreat where tranquility, light, and the panorama blend in perfect balance, offering every day the privilege of looking out over one of the most enchanting views of Lake Orta.

Considered Italy’s most romantic, Lake Orta is a pre-Alpine lake a few kilometers from Lake Maggiore and only an hour’s drive from Milan and Turin. It is already a much-loved destination for great chefs, who have opened renowned restaurants here, and for entrepreneurs who have created resorts and accommodation facilities of rare beauty. At its center lies San Giulio Island, the symbol of the area, beautiful and unique of its kind, which every year attracts thousands of visitors. Among the most distinctive towns, in addition to Ameno and Miasino with the enchanting Villa Nigra, there is undoubtedly Orta, with the Sacro Monte, the historic center full of cobbled lanes, the main square from which boats depart for San Giulio Island, and the scenic lakeside walk among sumptuous villas. On the opposite shore we find Pella, a delightful town also reachable via a walk starting from the Gozzano Lido. Not far away is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Sasso, set on a rocky spur jutting out over the lake. From here the view opens onto a thrilling, breathtaking panorama of slopes and green peaks reflected in the water. Continuing north, you will first find Oira, certainly worth a visit, and then Omegna, one of the larger towns, where the Strona stream, curiously, flows in reverse. The waters of Lake Orta are clear and suitable for swimming, and many sports are practiced: from swimming to sailing, from canoeing to diving. Surrounded by green mountains, there are many trails for walking in nature, even reaching the summit of Mount Mottarone above Stresa. It is also not far from the Ossola Valley, a destination for those who love trips to high mountains both in the warmer months and in winter.
