There is also the minimalist restaurant "Daica" which in 2019 was awarded the Michelin star. It has several supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, a school, and a sports centre. You can walk to the Hermitage, a place where people gather on Sundays for picnics or “torradas”, and which has a sandy playground. On Tuesday mornings there is a varied market in the Plaza de España, better known as Plaza de la Carretera. On the third weekend in November, the local fair dedicated to honey harvesting is held here. The village, decorated with sand-coloured stone houses, is about 20 minutes from the beaches of Alcudia, and 35 minutes from the centre of Palma and the airport.
