Location: Athens, Attica
Location: The Victoria Square neighborhood is located between the neighborhoods of Polytechnic, Vathis Square, Omonia, Museum, Pedion tou Areos, Larissa Station, Agios Pavlos, and Agios Panteleimonas. According to the prevailing version, the square was named Victoria in honor of the Queen of the United Kingdom, on the occasion of the cession of the Ionian Islands to Greece in 1864, as a gift for the accession to the Greek throne of the queen's nephew, Prince William George of Denmark, to the Greek throne. This move was made in 1872 by the then mayor of Athens, Panagis Kyriakos, who lived in the area. Later, it was renamed Kyriakos Square in his honor. The death of Queen Victoria in 1901 shocked Greek public opinion and led to the restoration of the old name, which was made official in 1943.
Unique features: Victoria is located a short distance from the center of Athens and is a neighborhood with several squares and hangouts that give it a lively atmosphere. The Athens University of Economics and Business and Pedion tou Areos, the largest public park in Athens, which also houses the Alsos Theater, are located nearby.
Accessibility: The Vathis Square area is served by the Victoria, Omonoia, and Larissa metro stations, as well as by many bus and trolley lines.
Investment Potential: This area is located right in the center of Athens, an area that has always been of great interest to buyers with guaranteed returns on investment.
