Cala d’Or, the “Golden Bay,” is a charming town of around 4,000 inhabitants in the Migjorn region, only about 60 kilometers from Palma and about 45 minutes from the airport. The center features a large pedestrian zone running through the town, with numerous shops, cafés, and restaurants. Cala d’Or also has an “old quarter,” not far from the pedestrian zone, which impresses with its tranquil atmosphere. Here, houses in the Ibizan style shape the scene, giving the area its own distinctive, charming character. Cala d’Or’s exclusive marina is among the island’s larger and more luxurious marinas, with almost 600 berths. The harbor district offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants, providing the perfect setting—especially in the evening—for a relaxed night out, particularly at sunset when the golden light is reflected on the water.
