With its 3,500 inhabitants, Mieming is the third largest of the Tyrolean municipalities. A 27-hole golf course has even been opened on the plateau, near the home of the ZDF mountain doctor, on the edge of the residential area, to the delight of all golf enthusiasts. For hiking enthusiasts, there are numerous hiking routes around Mieming. There is the Stams nature trail, which leads hikers through an oak forest to the Inntalblick viewing platform near Obsteig or up to the 2,545 m high Roßkopf. Mieming
