The historic and listed Kronenhaus was built between 1902-1904 according to the plans of the renowned Düsseldorf architect Hermann vom Endt. In the style of modernized historicism with Art Nouveau ornamentation, it framed the access to the former Kronensaal, which served as a community center and was destroyed in World War II, along with the still-existing neighboring building. This ensemble was commissioned by the Evangelical `Association for Inner Mission`. Now, a total of 27 residential units are being created in the main building, as well as four loft houses in the courtyard building of this historic and historically significant building. The loft house offered here is being created in the former courtyard building from 1910. This building was heavily damaged in the war and was rebuilt with a modified roof shape, and is therefore not listed. You can reach the loft houses located in the landscaped inner courtyard through the large courtyard portal of the listed main building. Without any street noise, you will live here in the middle of the urban Unterbilk. You can easily reach the mezzanine floor of the loft house via the staircase. The main level of the unit impresses not only with its ceiling height of up to approximately 3.50 m, but also with the large metal windows in the desired industrial look. The modern plank flooring underscores the unit's unique loft character. Via the external staircase, you reach the terrace - your private outdoor area in the middle of the city. On the garden level is the main bedroom with dressing area, the bathroom with shower, the utility room, and a storage room. On the upper floor, you will find another bedroom with an ensuite shower bathroom and dressing area. Parking spaces for your e-bikes will also be realized in the courtyard.
