The Argüelles neighborhood was born during the period of the Ensanche and is a magnificent example of bourgeois Madrid. Bounded by the Parque de Debod and the Calle Princesa, it stretches in a narrow strip from the Plaza de España towards the Parque del Oeste, delimited by the streets of Pintor Rosales, Irún, Paseo Moret, Ferraz, Princesa, the Plaza de España, and the Cuesta de San Vicente.
