Characteristic detached village house with unique lake views

Close to the shores of Lake Trasimeno is this detached village house, part of which dates back to the Middle Ages. From the free public parking at the edge of the village, the main street leads us straight to it. The town is known for its fascinating sunsets and the Festival of Correspondences, where the National Literary Prize Vittoria Aganoor Pompilj is awarded every year. The characterful house is located on three floors. The main entrance is through the ground floor by a few steps. On this floor are the spacious living room with fireplace and access to a panoramic terrace, as well as a rustic living kitchen with lots of light. From all the rooms we can admire the lake and the islands. The second floor consists of a bathroom with bathtub, a spacious landing and 3 bedrooms (1 double room and 2 smaller rooms). From these rooms the view of the lake is even more impressive. In one of the bedrooms there are murals that recall times gone by. Finally, there is a semi-underground floor that we reach both by an interior staircase and from the street through a separate entrance. A special feature is the wall of exposed stones between this floor and the ground floor. This part of the house is the most recent and was arranged to be used as an independent apartment. It consists of a spacious living room, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen, from which we have an exit to the street. From the living room there is access to a small courtyard. The roof of the house was completely renewed and insulated a few years ago. There is air conditioning (split) in all the rooms. In the bedrooms there are also electric convectors. All utilities are present: methane gas, city water, electricity and there is connection to the public sewer system. There is also a cistern. The house has been rebuilt, extended and renovated several times over the centuries. With some modernization works, it is the perfect location for a vacation home but also as a first home this house has many assets.
