Kamatero is a settlement in the Municipality of Agioi Anargyroi-Kamatero and is part of the Western Suburbs of Athens. The area is built on the foothills of Poikilo Oros and it borders Petroupoli, Ano Liosia, Ilion and Zefyri. Features: Kamatero is known for the important archaeological findings, such as graves and houses, that have been discovered in its center. There is, also, a trolleybus line that connects the area to Agios Antonios metro station in Peristeri.
