The ten best beaches in Chile, all of them are beautiful corners bathed by the Pacific Ocean, among landscapes and water temperatures that vary radically from north to south. Check the list below.

1. Cavancha Beach (I Region):

Located in the center of Iquique cavancha, a beach in northern Chile, enchants both for its warm waters, gentle waves for swimming and white sands for sunbathing, as well as for its privileged environment, housing a waterfront full of life, characterized by its tropical palm trees, parks, recreational areas and gastronomic establishments.

For those who practice board sports, such as bodyboarding and surfing, the northern part of the beach offers bigger waves, including the well-known waves of "El Colegio", "La Punta" and "Las Urracas".

2. La Lisera and El Laucho Beaches: (XV Region):

Two beaches located in the city of Aricathey are known for their gentle waves, warm waters and white sands, both suitable for swimming.

On the one hand, La Lisera enchants with its beautiful surroundings of gardens and coconut palm trees, hills that allow paragliding landing between its sands and natural pools where snorkeling. El Laucho, meanwhile, captivates with its lively atmosphere along the coast, with numerous beach bars where you can enjoy refreshing drinks.

3. Bahía Inglesa (Region III):

A seaside resort located 6 kilometers from the town of Calderait is famous for its beautiful beaches of white sand and turquoise waters, with black rocks between which small natural pools are formed.

Although there are three beaches located in the resort: La Piscina, El Chuncho and Blanca, you can find many others in their surroundings, all with soft sand for walking and crystal clear waters, calm and warm, ideal for swimming and other water sports.

4. La Virgen Beach (III Region):

Located approximately 35 kilometers from Bahía Inglesa it is a small beach of fine white sand and turquoise waters, considered by many as the best beach in Chile, resembling a Caribbean beach in its appearance.

Its crystal clear waters and gentle waves are suitable for swimming, although they can be somewhat cold, compared to other beaches in northern Chile. Also noteworthy are its beautiful surrounding landscapes with numerous rocks and cliffs.

5. Punta Choros (IV Region):

Small fishing village where some of the best beaches in Chile are hidden, known for its calm waters and extraordinary marine biodiversity, allowing easy sightings of dolphins, whales, sea lions and other species.

Its most famous beaches are concentrated in neighboring Damas Island which is part of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve, a place where beaches of crystalline waters and white sands, characterized by their crushed shells, stretch out. Here you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Playa Las Tijeras and Playa La Poza, only the latter being suitable for swimming.

6. Totoralillo (IV Region):

Beautiful beach located 23 kilometers from La Serena La Serena it consists of a small peninsula divided into two beaches of white sand and emerald waters.

Its transparent waters, although a little cold, are suitable for swimming, while its quality of waves, makes it be considered among the best beaches in Chile for surfing. Another of its attractions is the wide marine biodiversity that develops in the rocks of its southern part, a place where you can see starfish, conches and other mollusks.

7. Anakena Beach (V Region):

Located in Easter Island anakena Beach, a dream beach characterized by its warm waters and white sands surrounded by coconut trees, with the backdrop of the impressive Ahu Nau Nau, a ceremonial platform where seven moais stand.

In addition to its scenery, the transparency of its waters stands out, allowing diving and snorkeling, with sightings at great depths.

8. Reñaca (V Region):

Extensive beach of soft sands and quite cold waters, suitable for swimming and ideal for surfing and other water sports due to its waves.

Although for many it may seem an overcrowded beach, the truth is that it is one of the summer epicenters of the central zone of the country, standing out for its vibrant entertainment offer deployed on the waterfront, where lively bars, restaurants and nightclubs are spread out.

9. Cole Cole Beach (X Region):

Located in the National Park of Chiloé National Park this enormous beach of cold waters and golden sands, although not suitable for bathing, could not be left out of any ranking of the best beaches in Chile for its scenic beauty: An endless deserted esplanade surrounded by hills covered in green.

To reach this beach you must cross a trekking route of about 8 kilometers, passing by cliffs next to the sea and native forest, with viewpoints that allow extraordinary views from different heights.

10. Puerto Cisnes (XI Region):

Small town located in the extreme south of Chile, with beautiful white sand beaches bathed by the sea arm of the Puyuhuapi Channel Puyuhuapi Channel it is a place that captivates for its landscapes, with majestic mountain peaks and hills covered with forest.

In addition to the contemplation of its beaches, you can take boats that make various tours into the southern fjords, allowing the sighting of whales and dolphins.
