Adrien Blomme’s architecture affects all the domains of the construction: villas, buildings, apartments, businesses, art galleries, cinema, industrial buildings, social estates, farms, exhibition halls. He is inspired by the representation of the industrial bourgeoisie of the intervening period wars. He will be in particular, the architect of the brewers Wielemans. His customer is for the most part affluent.
During his career, he explored several styles however the Art deco stays its favourite. In opposition to the modernism, the Art deco expresses the modernity of an undertaking bourgeoisie. The Art deco showcases ornaments and materials as the marble and the wood. The style combines tradition and modernism to provide comfort to the users. Adrien Blomme draws for the Art deco style and and he gives of the style to whom he orders and modernity to whom wishes for it. His main concern is to answer with rigor to the program imposed by his customers.
His conceptions are the Cinema Metropolis in the center of Brussels-city, the Public garden oh the Val de la Cambre, the Villa Gosset, the “industrial village” of Winterslag (Limburg) and his own house.
His success is translated by its route of free creator, attached to values of its job.
