At Engel & Völkers in Barcelona, we care very much about providing the best service to our clients, regardless of whether they want to sell or rent their homes or if they want us to help them find a home from our offices. However, customers are not our only priority. We also try to make our advisers and other staff members who work for us feel comfortable, happy and proud to be part of our team.
This is the main reason why every two months we celebrate the Family Day event at Engel & Völkers in Barcelona. Specifically, it is an event in which our employees' and collaborators' family and friends can go for the purpose of finding out where they do their work. This is undoubtedly an option that allows us to increase our bond with our staff. After all, our goal is to make you feel at home and treat us as if we were your family.
The last edition of this Family Day took place at the headquarters of Engel & Völkers in Barcelona on Thursday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. We can honestly say it was a true success. In fact, based on the data reported by the event, we draw the conclusion that our employees and collaborators really liked it, which is why more and more people are encouraged to participate in it.
We know that children love to see the workplace where their parents spend many hours at from the time they leave the house early in the morning before dropping them off at school. This is why for this event we decided to install a cotton candy machine for this event. It quickly caught the attention of the youngest attendees who were sucking their fingers the whole time.
In addition, we hired the services of a nice cheerleader who was responsible for providing entertainment for the little ones while the adults enjoyed the rest of the activities of the event. In particular, she was in charge of painting their faces, making them dance to the tune of their favourite songs, etc. Out of the 150 people attending the event, 30 were children.
