Badalona is a city in the region of Barcelonès. It is located 10 km from Barcelona and it is the third city of Catalonia in population. It is surrounded by the municipalities of Sant Adrià de Besós to the southwest, Santa Coloma de Gramenet to the west; Tiana and Montgat, cities of the region of Maresme, to the northeast and Sant Fost de Campsentelles (Vallés Oriental) and Moncada i Reixach (Vallés Occidental) to the north.
