Summer is starting to say goodbye to us but this doesn't mean it's the end of having fun. Barcelona is one of the most dynamic cities in Spain to take part in exciting activities. For example, this autumn, the Catalan capital is preparing to host a remarkable number of concerts that will undoubtedly attract a variety of audiences. Pay attention to the dates on which you can enjoy the most outstanding performances in Barcelona during September and October.
In September, the Barcelona music scene will be staged by alternative rhythms from The Sisters of Mercy and Eagles of Death Metal, which will take place on the same day (Friday 9th) although in two different venues (the Razzmatazz 2 and the Apolo stadiums, respectively). Exactly at the same time, there will be a performance from Pablo Lopez, possibly in the Auditorium of Barcelona in order to promote his singles 'Tu enemigo' and 'Lo saben mis zapatos'.
The next month, on October 1st, the legendary group Red Hot Chilli Peppers will perform their peculiar version of rock music at Palau Sant Jordi. It will be one of only two stops that the band has planned in our country as part of their tour to promote their latest work, The Getaway. The most nostalgics music fans may prefer to opt for Dúo Dinámic, who will perform their greatest hits on October 2nd at the Liceo Theatre.
Less than a week later (on October 7th), we will have to be more selective in what we want to see in a concert. The Latin sensation, Maluma, will perform at the Sant Jordi Club, while the gothic rock band, Macbeth, will appear in the Gran Teatre del Liceu (the group has also confirmed other concerts in the city throughout the month). The next day, it will be the Italian singer Laura Pausini's turn to perform. She will take to the stage with Maluma at the Palau Sant Jordi. Tuesday 11th is the day chosen by the Catalan group Manel (Tivoli Theatre).
In the rest of the month, Estopa is presented as one of the highlights of the musical agenda with his performance at the Palau Sant Jordi on Saturday 15rh. At this venue, there will also be David DeMaria (Friday 21st) and Huecco (Saturday 22nd) at the BARTS. October will end with two more concerts. On Wednesday 27th, The Chemichal Brothers perform at the Poble Espanyol, while on the last day of the month, David Bustamante will perform at the Palau Sant Jordi.
