2018 was Engel & Völkers' ultimate year. Thanks to the efforts of our team of professionals, we have been able to continue growing and providing the best service to our clients every time. Among the 2018 achievements that will definitely remain very special to all of us, the following stand out:
Commercial Success
The numbers speak for themselves: more than 850 sales made and more than 1,150 rentals constitute the extensive flow of Engel & Völkers business operations. Commercial real estate in Barcelona and its surroundings, both for trading and residing purposes (for sale and rent), as well as the variety and quality of the portfolio in new and resale properties were our best achievements.
Celebrations in a Single Year
2018 has been a year where celebrations have brought the team even closer together. On the one hand the Summer Party, which took place on the shores of one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean, allowed us to thank all those who operate under our brand, in an event of more than 350 people. There was also the Christmas Party, a masquerade dance party to bring the year to the end. During this event, the best mask of the evening was awarded, as well as those real estate agents who had achieved a greater turnover throughout their career in the company.
The Strength of a Brand
Engel & Völkers has had a strong brand presence accompanying and sponsoring elite sports competitions. The company was a sponsor of the Davis Cup held in the city of Valencia, with the most outstanding players at an international level. Similarly, the company was also the sponsor of the Polo Negrita Cup Challenge for the second consecutive year: we believe in the same values as the game of polo and that is why we feel so close to this sport. Finally, another of our favourites: The Legends Golf Trophy at PGA Catalunya, one of the most outstanding golfing venues in Spain.
Expanding Facilities
At Engel & Völkers, we have expanded our facilities and opened a new premise at the Alta Diagonal building. With an area of 175 sqm, the office will focus its activity in the upper area of the city and Les Corts as well as in the rental division. A luxury service to all those customers who put their trust in our work and experience.
Participation in Fairs
The brand has met up with most of its clients in different fairs of the real estate and commercial sector. We participated in the Barcelona Meeting Point, considered the most important real estate event in the country. We were also the leading sponsor and co-sponser of the "Luxury Real Estate", Fircasa Vallés; our participation in Fira de la Candalera, in Molins de Rei, an event with more than 100 years of existence and the power to attract more than 300,000 people, positions us as a leading firm, serious and with broad institutional support.
400 real estate agents at your disposal
In order to always provide the best service, at Engel & Völkers, we now have a total of 400 real estate agents working in the city of Barcelona and its surroundings. We are, therefore, the first Market Centre of the company that has reached such a high number of staff, and we strive to continue growing with new plans for the future.
