During the year, Estepona has many festivals and events. Besides Christmas, Easter, and Carnival, there are also many traditional festivals, which celebrate the Spanish culture and history.
On the 5th of January, the Three Wise Menis celebrated as a huge parade in the center of Estepona.
Andalusia day is held on the 28th of February. In April, they celebrate the day of Foreign Residents, which is celebratedby the inhabitants of different nationalities. People gather in the conference center of Estepona, and share their different cultures, including the food andmusic of their country.
The Feria de San Isidro Labrador in May, is atraditional festival of agriculture and animal husbandry. The people gather inthe streets of Estepona for five days, and celebrate with dance, music, anddelicious food.
One of the biggest festivals is the folk festival Fiestas Mayores, which takes place in July.
Virgen del Carmen, a celebration offishing, also takes place in Estepona and other coastal villages.
The Night of San Juan is well known in Estepona, thereis a big fire on the beach. Everyone gathers on the beach, where there is a variety of food, drinks, and music.
There are also some small events, such as cheese, olive oil, wine, and bread exhibitions. In these exhibitions, companies presenttheir goods for selling.
