Why living in Monteprincipe?

To answer the question, "why live in Montepríncipe?" We must first start by defining the characteristics of this residential area in order to be able to explain the advantages of living in this place. 

Montepríncipe is an urbanisation located in the western area of the Community of Madrid near the capital. It consists of three municipalities: Alcorcón (a small town full of houses), Pozuelo de Alarcón ( surrounded by large Mediterranean pine-tree forests) and, Boadilla del Monte. Boadilla is one of those areas of Spain with the highest per capita income and lowest unemployment rates.


Montepríncipe consists of more than 450 houses grouped together (terraced / semi), and just under 200 detached homes.

To list the many advantages of living in this area, let's start with its location. We are talking about an area that’s only 14 km from Madrid but at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of the capital and in direct contact with nature. Adjacent to Monte Protegido de Boadilla del Monte and the Monte de Pozuelo, which form a large stretch of Mediterranean forest mainly composed of holm oak trees, where relaxation is doing something as simple as taking a walk outside or enjoying the quiet views from your own living room. 

The area is very well connected, both by road and public transport, with direct and close connections with the M-40 and the M-50, as well as 4 intercity bus lines (566, 571, 573 and 591) and there is also the subway, which makes it easy to reach Madrid and its nearby towns. 
To meet your daily needs, Montepríncipe has a shopping mall in the centre of the main avenue that includes a pharmacy, a supermarket, several restaurants, an auto repair shop, a veterinary clinic ...etc. In addition, your future home would be very close to other towns, such as Pozuelo de Alarcón and Majadahonda, where you will have access to all kinds of amenities.

It is worth mentioning that Boadilla del Monte is a municipality with its own hydrographic water resources. This is particularly advantageous for the residents as the water supply comes directly from the wells owned by Montepríncipe. These wells and the supply installation are periodically monitored to permanently guarantee the quality of the water for the residents’ consumption. 

The other important features of the area that must be highlighted are the availability of health care and educational institutions.

Within Montepríncipe and close to one of the urbanisation's entry points, the M-513, there is the University Hospital HM Montepríncipe, which has all the medical-surgical specialists, as well as the A&E service and the Neonatal ICU 24 hours a day.

Next to the entry point of the M-501, there is the San Pablo CEU School that offers education from elementary to high school.

The San Pablo CEU University offers the possibility of studying pharmacy and medicine at its campuses. It also facilitates the Higher Polytechnic School.

It is also worth mentioning the Facultad de Informática of UPM, which also has its facilities in the area.

To conclude, another important advantage of living in Montepríncipe is that your home is within a very safe area, thanks to the access control system and the real-time image recording system that is offered by the private surveillance firm (PROSEGUR) for the urbanisation as well as the municipality of Boadilla del Monte.

All in all, we can say that Montepríncipe offers all the advantages of a luxury residential area, since it's close to the capital and features the kind of services that give us the possibility of living in an environment with the quality of life we want for our family.
