The summer on the wonderful island Majorca is already in full swing. That´s why we like to introduce you the five most beautiful beaches in the South East.
The beautiful 40 metres long bay of Cala Marmols is an insider tip in the southeast of Mallorca. After a 5 kilometres walk along the rocks or by boat you reach the bay, which is framed by 20 meters high marble rocks. Here you can fully enjoy the crystal clear water and you have a chance of privacy. There is no service on the beach and during the hike, so we recommend you to bring your own lunch. It is also recommended to wear walking shoes. The hike starts from Cap de Ses Salines and takes about 1.5 hours.
The beautiful beach Es Carbo is the related beach of Es Trenc and offers pure nature! The beach is not reachable by car, so a 45 minutes long hike from Colonia St. Jordi leads you to this idyllic spot. Compared to the Es Trenc, Es Carbo has enough space. The beach is 1400 meters long and with a wide of 45 meters, it is even wider than the Es Trenc. Enjoy the view of the island Cabrera and the crystal clear water. There are no shopping facilities or restaurants, so you should bring your own food and drink. When you like tot ravel by boat please take care of the water depth.
The picturesque bay of S´Almunia, only 7 kilometres away from Santanyi, is the neighbouring bay of Calo des Moro. You can go into the water via rockformations or boat ramps. Due to the crystal clear water, this place offers a perfect opportunity for diving and snorkelling! The bay has only a small sand strip at the end and is 40 meters long and 15 meters wide. Through the many small fishermen's cottages this cove is also a good place for photographers and artists.
You like to relax and feel the white sand between your toes? Then Cala Llombards would be a perfect opportunity! The turquoise blue water in combination with the overgrown cliffs invites you to dream.With the wide of 116 meters, the beach projects far into the inland. Because of the length of 60 meters the beach offers enough space for everyone. The cliffs are walkable and have breath-taking views and places to relax. If you are hungry or thirsty, you can go to the restaurant or enjoy a cocktail at the beach bar.
The Cala Mondrago is one of the three beaches of the natural reserve Parque Natural and a perfect destination for nature lovers. The bay is located near Cala d'Or and a nice trip for couples and families. The 75 meter long and 60 metre wide white sandy beach with the crystal clear water invites you to relax and offers a possibility for snorkelling and diving. This beautiful bay is framed by pines and rocks.Through a path over the rocks you can reach the fascinating bay S'Amarador.The nature reserve also offers great hiking trails.
