1. On-trend autumn colours

It’s away with the usual warm oranges and earthy browns that we associate with autumn. In are outdoor inspired greens and muted neutrals, particularly blush pink colours. The colours of the season are set to be an eclectic mix.

With green it’s a case of the bolder the better. But if statement wall coverings and loud green furniture are not your thing, even the simplest of additions, such as green glasses on the dinner table, can upgrade your interior for fall 2017.

An ever so slight ‘tint of pink’ has also been given a definite thumbs up for fall 2017. It’s been seen all over High Point Market and splashed throughout interiors in the form of cushion covers, statement furniture pieces and vintage glassware. It’s a must have for autumn 2017 decoration.

2. Warm autumn glows

With the inevitable change in weather outdoors, we like the idea of bringing a cosy glow inside. A particularly effective and simple way of doing this is with autumn votives and candleholders.

For easy fall decorations that will light up your home in an instant, grab yourself some votive holders and wrap them in natural cornhusks that have been trimmed to fit. Secure the cornhusks in place with tied raffia and finish them off with a spotted guinea fowl feather. Alternatively, set the scene with a candle nestled in a clear glass container, filled with seasonal materials such as popcorn kernels or smooth round stones.

3. Pumpkins pumpkins everywhere

Have you ever thought about using vegetables on your dining table? Experiment with white pumpkins delicately circled by bittersweet vine and dotted along an orange table runner. Traditionally associated with fall, using pumpkins for autumn decoration is easy; they're a pretty versatile vegetables that can be used as vases, hanging baskets and of course to decorate your home at Halloween.
