The figures from a recent study by various companies in the real estate sector leave no room for doubt: Spain has become a perfect destination to invest in as per all the professionals who have confirmed this.
Second favourite country to invest in
From the total number of those questioned in the study, 19.9% of the experts consulted indicated that Spain is at the moment the perfect place to carry out a real estate investment.
The only European country that surpassed ours was Germany, where around 28% of the surveyed investors would give their highest preferences in the face of future investment.
The reality is that the Spanish property market is being filled with foreign investors and individuals, who continue to agree and confirm the figures of the survey.
The keys to understanding this process go through classic factors, such as the climate and the other more recent one; a market that's in continuous expansion both in holiday rental and long-stay accommodation.
A rising market
The surveyed experts also agree that the demand for real estate in Spain will continue to rise. It is clear that industry professionals expect the growth achieved in 2017 will be maintained and even increased during 2018.
It has been pointed out that the foreseeable increase in interest rates will not be of any concern to potential investors. This is largely due to the profitability of investments and a rise in property prices of that will more than offset against the interest rate increases in the lending market.
However, specialists also agree that the market and its supply must be effectively controlled if people don't want to go back to living in a bubble again.
The political situation plays an important role
The fact that Spain's property market is placed second in the list of preferences for real estate investors is not so strange. This ranking on the list had previously corresponded to the United Kingdom, although the process of the Brexit has discouraged many of those who were thinking of investing in Great Britain.
Equally, the Spanish regions are not all in the same situation. It has been proven that many investors who previously chose Catalonia to invest in the real estate market have moved on to other areas of the country.
The most preferred cities for investors include Malaga, Madrid, and Valencia.
