The first recruitment event on the Costa Blanca ends successfully with support and organisation

The tourist resort of ​​Costa Blanca is one of the Spanish coast's most influential, both in terms of its contribution in the regional economy (it is the real engine of the province of Alicante) and its importance for the international market. Engel & Völkers is fully aware of this situation and, therefore, is implementing an ambitious expansion plan on the Alicante coast. The first major recruitment event on the Costa Blanca took place on June 25th at the exclusive Suitopia Hotel in Calpe. 

The Engel & Völkers' event led by Rosanna Uva (Head of Recruitment in Spain, Portugal and Andorra) with the collaboration of Constanza Maya (Head of Expansion and Support in Spain, Portugal and Andorra) and Marian García (Regional Manager of Costa Blanca) has been a great success, with more than one hundred requests for participation. This far exceeded the expected number. The results have also exceeded expectations.

The main purpose of the event was to increase the number of estate agents, thus reinforcing the operational capacity of Engel & Völkers in a strategic commercial area. This recruitment process also allowed us to continue building our brand image by highlighting exclusivity and the permanent pursuit of excellence as our main corporate values. These efforts were also applied in the selection process of the new estate agents. They all had to demonstrate their talent, ambition and, of course, their passion for the Spanish real estate market. 

Undoubtedly, the active advertising campaign that preceded the event contributed significantly to its successful development. Engel & Völkers announced the event in different digital media platforms (Valencia Plaza and Alicante Plaza), talent finding platforms (Infojobs and LinkedIn) and Google (Google Adwords), as well as on our own website. As announced through the previous channels, the presence of different Senior Agents (agents with more seniority who generate greater turnover for the brand) was one of the aspects most valued by attendees. Specifically, we had the assistance of Vicente Cerdà (Senior Agent of Alicante), Alberto Aguado (Senior Agent of Benidorm), David D'Hooge (Senior Agent of Calpe) and Christian Wisotzki (Senior Agent of Moraira). 

We also enjoyed the support of those responsible for the Engel & Völkers' property shops in the province of Alicante; Roberto Botella (License Partner of Alicante), Ximo Ferrando and Elena Ortuño (Licensees of Dénia and Jávea), Pilar Panades and José Galiana (Licensees of Altea), Emilio Viñals (License Partner of Calpe and Moraira, Domingo Hernández (Director of Alfaz del Pi) and Damián Navarro (License Partner of Benidorm) accompanied by Janis Fedorovskis (Director) The purpose of the event was for the licensees to have direct contact with the candidates and get to know them in order to be able to continue with the recruitment process.
