Tiny homes, the new trend of living in properties of less than 40 sqm

So much so that many of these homes are self-sufficient.

To get a better idea, the price per square metre for one of these small homes is around 1000 euros. However, there are smaller and perfectly equipped properties that are also available. It is currently possible to find a tiny house with 27 square metres of space equipped with a separate bedroom, a bathroom and a living room with kitchen for 21,900 euros.

It is true that based on the data provided by top sources in the real estate industry, the taste for these mini houses in Spain is lower than in other European countries such as the United Kingdom or Sweden. However, more and more people are now opting for them, especially as a second home. In fact, once they are purchased, they are transported to an empty plot of land that's owned by the owner so that he or she can spend their weekends or holidays in this home with their family or partner.
