Costa Azul – Avanza, or the Costa Azul Bus Line, is a public transportation provider in Alicante which operates multiple buses and bus routes. It currently has 23 bus routes in Alicante, with 293 bus stops in various towns and cities throughout the province. Costa Azul Bus routes cover from Elche in the north, i to Pilar de la Horadada in the south. The buses travel 365 days a year, with multiple roundtrips throughout the day.
IS THERE A COSTA AZUL BUS FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT?
Yes, Costa Azul has an airport route bus which travels from Alicante Airport to the city of Torrevieja, and the Orihuela Costa. The bus has a roundtrip route, which means passengers can ride it from Torrevieja to get to Alicante International Airport.
This bus service runs up to 12 roundtrips per day, 365 days a year, and without stops.

Tickets can be bought at the Torrevieja Bus Station for services departing on the same day (no pre-booking). Tickets from Alicante Airport can be bought directly from the bus (pay to the driver).
WHICH COSTA AZUL BUS LINE TO TAKE FROM TORREVIEJA TO LA ZENIA?
The Costa Azul Torrevieja – La Zenia Boulevard Bus Line runs a roundtrip route from Torrevieja to La Zenia. It is one of the most preferred routes by many travelling from Torrevieja, because of the bus line’s multiple stops, allowing passengers to stop at various places close to must-see attractions. Additionally, the bus takes passengers directly to La Zenia Boulevard, an expansive shopping centre, and one of the largest and most popular in Costa Blanca.
Another bus passengers can take when travelling from Torrevieja to La Zenia is the Costa Azul Bus Line L2 which leaves from the bus stop at Hospital de Torrevieja, ending at the La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre in La Zenia. While this route has more stops, it only operates on weekdays.
Costa Azul Bus Torrevieja to La Zenia Timetable:
Departure and Arrival (Torrevieja): Bus Stop at Calle Patricio Zammit, 03182 Torrevieja

The bus operates daily except Sundays, from 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM. The one-way trip has a duration of approximately 20 minutes, with 12 stops along the way.

The L2 bus operates only on weekdays, from 8:15 AM – 7:15 PM. Duration of the one-way trip is approximately 25 minutes, with 17 stops along the way.

WHICH COSTA AZUL BUS LINE TO TAKE IN ORIHUELA COSTA?
The Costa Azul Bus Line L1 has a route that runs through a part of Orihuela Costa and the inland villages of the municipality of Orihuela. The bus departs from Dehesa de Campoamor and has 16 stops before arriving at its destination in La Zenia. Along the way, passengers can disembark at various towns such as Cabo Roig, and Villamartín.
The Costa Azul Alicante Bus Line is another bus with a route that goes through the entirety of Orihuela Costa, passing by Torrevieja, until reaching its last stop at the Alicante Bus Station. This is the most extensive bus route, running from the southernmost town of Orihuela Costa, all the way to the city centre of Alicante. Its multiple bus stops also allow passengers to disembark or depart from various towns including Mil Palmeras, Dehesa de Campoamor, La Zenia, Torrevieja, and Guardamar del Segura, among others.
