Valencia's cultural activities for this autumn

In a city like Valencia, autumn is synonymous with being able to enjoy a wide variety of cultural activities for the whole family. In this article, we want to talk about the most interesting ones in order to encourage you to go to the places where they are celebrated in and enjoy them to the fullest.

1. Opera in Les Arts: "El Amor Brujo"

"El Amor Brujo", one of the most important and well-known works from Manuel de Falla, which was first released in mid-March 1915 in Madrid, arrives in Valencia with the purpose of delighting all the opera fans. In particular, the interpretation of this work will be shown in the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in the capital of Turia.

2. Bombas Gens Centre d'Art

Since last July, Valencia has managed to restore one of the most important 'art deco' buildings in the city and has converted it into an art centre containing more than 1800 works belonging to 140 different vehicles. Definitely a place worth visiting this autumn as both inside and outside are a true wonder.

3. Valencia Cuina Abierta

Valencia Cuina Abierta is an initiative inspired by New York and London Restaurant Week which has since 2009 been offering the possibility of enjoying exquisite tasting menus at an unbeatable price in more than 50 different restaurants in the city. In fact, these gastronomic offers range between 20 and 30 euros and even include establishments that have been awarded Michelin stars. Specifically, it has a duration of 10 days (from 19th to 29th of October). In short, haute cuisine within everyone's reach.

4. Concerts in La Marina's pergola

During the months of autumn, The Musical Societies of the Marítim will bring fresh music to La Marina de Valencia. In total, there will be up to 11 different concerts that will be held on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning or in the afternoon and in which you will be able to enjoy a great variety of genres. Specifically, the event began on 17th of September and will end on 26th of November. Without a doubt, a good way to liven up for the long-awaited Christmas.

Any of these four activities that we recommend will allow you, on the one hand, to discover the charm and cultural richness of Valencia and, on the other, to enjoy a pleasant weekend in the City of Arts and Sciences. As you can see, this city does not rest even for a second throughout the year.
