The “Freyschlössl” – a castle property in a prime location in Salzburg’s Old Town is now up for sale. This magnificent property is located on Salzburg’s Mönchsberg mountainside and, thanks to its elevated position, it affords a breathtaking panoramic view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, Salzburg’s Old Town and the beautiful surrounding mountain scenery. The name “Freyburg / Freyschlössl” can be traced back to the Salzburg merchant Carl von Frey, who purchased the estate in 1862 and had it remodelled in the neo-Gothic style. The finished result boasts unique period features throughout the property.
