Charming, timeless villages within Tuscany Maremma countryside

Manciano is a lovely medieval village hinabitated since Etruscan times. It is perched on a hill that dominates the surrounding countryside and offers a stunning view also of the Silver Coast and islands.

Lose yourself in the narrow streets of the historical center means traveling through time. Also the nearby hamlets deserve a visit. One of them is Montemerano, a small village nominated one of the most beautiful Italian locations.

Known worldwide as the “little Jerusalem”, Pitigliano is a very suggestive “borgo”. Practically carved out of "Tuffaceous" rock it sits upon one of the tuff spurs, conferring a unique beauty to the town landscape. Here, you find Etruscan ruins of a necropolis and the remains of a temple, as well as the Jewish ghetto. Moreover, local vineyards produce the high-quality white wine “Pitigliano DOC”.

Located between the coast and the Mount Amiata, Scansano is famous worldwide because of the production of the wine "Morellino DOCG". The landscape is characterized by typical medieval streets, fields of olive trees, sunny countryside and rows of vines.

Sorano is the "Matera of Tuscany" because of the majestic walls and the picturesque houses. History and nature create a unique landscape. Castles dominate the territory, while pastures, wheat fields, vineyards and olive groves produce typical high quality food and wine exported everywhere.

Magliano in Toscana stands on a hill hosting olive trees and vineyards. Majestic walls with gates enclose the historical area. The main monuments are Checco il Bello’s palace and the Roman parish church “San Giovanni Battista”.
