Palazzolo sull' Oglio is a town on the banks of the river Oglio, in the Province of Brescia. Surrounded by vast farmlands, this charming location boasts a quick connection to all major transportation networks. Access to the capital city and the rest of Italy is provided by the Palazzolo Sull'oglio Train Station which is part of the Bergamo–Brescia railway. The A4 highway has a Palazzolo exit that directly connects the city to Italy's most important route. The Orio al Serio International Airport is located 15 minutes away by car.

Living in Palazzolo sull' Oglio will delight history enthusiasts and fans of architectural arts. The city has numerous historical points of interest, majestic structures, ancient landmarks, gorgeous gardens, and natural landscapes. The city's most famous historical landmark is the Torre Del Popolo or The Tower of the People, and also known as Tower of San Fedele, the city's patron saint. Built-in 1830, this bell tower is currently the highest round tower in Italy, standing 85 meters tall with a statue of San Fedele on top. Few blocks away from the Tower is the Roman bridge of Palazzolo sull' Oglio, or the Ponte Romano, which is a stone bridge built in the 4th Century and the oldest historical construction in the city. The bridge was a vital connection between Brescia to Bergamo and Milan during medieval times.

Other notable landmarks include the castle ruins of Rocha Magna, the ancient church of Vecchia Pieve, and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. Additionally, the Le Ville Kupfer or the Park of Villa Kupfer, a 19th-century residence which is now a theater, with music and outdoor cinema, hosts a series of events during the summer with concerts and food festivals.

The town also offers a wealth of essential services and conveniences.
