It’s time to kick off the 2018 tourist season for Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo and the Ossola Valleys!
The Borromee Islands will be accessible again starting on Friday 23 March 2018, the official starting date for the high season. Soon, it will be time to start exploring the best of what our territory has to offer between uncontaminated nature, colours, outdoor activities, wellness, wine and food, high-quality accommodation facilities and intriguing events!

Two "Blue Flags" have been assigned already this year: Cannero and Cannobio have been recognised as coastal swimming resorts that meet the criteria of sustainable management of the territory.
In addition to those, eight "Orange Flags" were assigned by Touring Club Italiano, which selects and certifies the excellent small villages in the hinterland: the award went to the localities of Cannero, Cannobio, Macugnaga, Malesco, Mergozzo, Orta San Giulio, Santa Maria Maggiore and Vogogna.
