Lets introduce you to our agents: E&V Milano presents Caterina Gemelli

Born and raised by the sea in Reggio Calabria, she moves to Milan as a Languages student of the Catholic University. Even before finishing her studies, Caterina’s first work experience is the high-end fashion design market, a field in which she develops a natural inclination towards luxury good. Married with an architect, she falls in love with the Luxury Real Estate and decides to devote herself entirely to this sector obtaining the qualification as real estate broker and working for about 20 years as an independent agent, jumping every now and then into the relocation market. The recent pandemic and the lockdowns lead her to change her career by broadening her horizons and so, in the autumn of 2021, she joins the Engel & Völkers Milano Solari Team.

Caterina loves reading and travelling, going to the cinema and experiencing new gastronomic experiences. She is strongly interested in psychology, a matter she studies with passion and likes to apply in her relationships. In her spare time she devotes herself to her teenage boys aged 14 and 16, as well as she pursue her interests preferably with her friends.

Why did you choose to join E&V Milano?

I joined Engel & Völkers Milan because I found it is a challenging opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a well-structured multinational, with a rational scientific approach that does not neglect the human aspect of our job.

What do you like about your job?

Well, first of all I love helping people to find the place where they feel at home, their dream house. I really like feeling my clients being totally confident in me, I like the human touch of my job. I love getting into other people’s life on tiptoe, guessing the kind of life they live in the houses they give me to rent or to sell or anticipating their needs when they look for a new place to live.

What have been your greatest successes at Engel & Völkers?

Every time I succeed in helping people to find their dream home is a greatest success for me.
