Born and bred in Milan, Gabriele considers this city complex but complete, difficult but capable of giving satisfactions, liveable at 360 degrees like a beautiful panoramic terrace and at the same time suffocating even if it is frenetic and competitive. Despite having always lived in this city, he often feels to run away in order to catch his breath and loosen the rope. These are the strengths and weaknesses of living in the country’s economic capital. Gabriele studied as aeronautical construction surveyor but for several years worked as a commercial agent in the security and construction sectors. The 2012 crisis led him to explore new horizons and obtained the qualification as real estate broker, a profession that gave him a lot of satisfaction. Since 2015 Gabriele is part of the E&V Milan Porta Venezia team and immediately emerged for his professionalism and the results achieved.
In his free time Gabriele has a lot of interests: trekking in the moutains, bike excursions, skiing in winter time, Sunday snowshoeing and travelling the world; he visited USA, South America, Russia, Japan, Thailand, the Caribbean, Mexico and many European cities reached by camper. Last but not least, his first passion: flying, with many hours spent on small two-seater aircrafts and paragliding. In recent years he’s approaching the sailing and who knows sooner or later not give up everything and cruising the sea around the world! A free spirit, a dreamer, but at the same time a very pragmatic person that is a point of reference for colleagues and clients.
Why did you join Engel & Völkers?
As soon as I obtained the licence as a real estate agent I collaborated with relatives and friends in the sale of houses and also commercial licenses such as the activity of barista, restaurants, tobacconist where people basically buy a job. Then I decided to look for an organized structure that could offer me more such as skills and knowledge so E&V was the right choice.
What do you like of your job?
I strongly believe that what is beautiful in this work is what it teaches you. Every house has its own history and each person is linked to it in a different way. There are those who buy and sell for pleasure, those who have to move, to shrink, to enlarge and those who must or want to invest capital. A world apart, which involves both the sphere of personal affection but also the economic.
What have been your greatest successes at Engel & Völkers?
Gaining the customers’ trust, make them satisfied with the result and method adopted. The greatest success is when the customer reports your name to others, they demonstrate the actual trust gained.
