Imagination, inspiration, care of service and, above all, attention to small gestures. Because drinking coffee is a real practice, which is renewed every day in the cafés by millions of Italians. In one of these cafés, to be precise in Padua, the best coffee in Italy is served as decreed by the jury. A group of experts carefully considered the many photographs arrived via the web to Fipe, which promoted this competition to enhance the work of those managers and operators that focus on attention to detail and service with ever new manners of giving the drink more loved by Italians.
COFFEE CUSTOMIZED. The competition "How to personalize your coffee" was promoted in synergy with Ica (Italian Coffee Association)-Federgrossisti. "Our choice - explained Marcello Fiore, general director of FIPE and member of the jury of experts which selected the winners - was largely based on those proposals that have highlighted the conviviality and attention to celebrate "the custom" of coffee, aspects that can be expressed in different ways and with different gestures: with a chocolate, with a sweet accompaniment, with a special cup, with a particular message. In our opinion, the winners have been able, to fully convey all these values".
THE WINNERS. Five winners coffe shops were rewared, Saturday, Oct. 22, at Triestespresso.
First place: Federica Luni of the pastry shop Estense located in Padua in Via Forcellini ,with the image called "Coffee Estense and Pazientina for two" that "perfectly describes the value and appeal of small gestures, with coffee protagonist of a moment of refined sweetness in the pursuit of service characterized by the attention to the client and to detail".
Fifth place: Antonio Ceraolo, of the coffee shop Cadò located always in Padua in via Scrovegni, with the image called "All Senses", which " expresses the original idea of this Paduan coffee shop to give customers the opportunity to choose the" first and last names " of ten different types of coffee, with their in-depth information sheets.
