The municipality of Velturno has always been known for its sunny location in the central Eisack Valley. The Bishops of Bressanone have used Velturno as a summer residence since 1577. The village of Velturno is located at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level, with a population of 3,060 residents. The infrastructure in the village is very well developed. Kindergarten, elementary school, retail outlets, restaurants and public
transport are all in the immediate vicinity. The bus stop is approx. 200m away and there is a public car park in the immediate vicinity of the property. Chiusa, where the train connection and the highway entrance are located, can be reached in 10 minutes. Bolzano airport is only 42 km away and the hospital in Bressanone can be reached in 10 minutes. The area is also very varied and popular for hikes; on a hike to the Radlseehütte you can enjoy the panorama towards the Geisler group.
