What you should know about this villa

Amenities and special features of this villa

In Capri, on a promontory overlooking via Tiberio, there is a splendid property surrounded by a pine grove. At five minutes from the ancient church of San Michele you will see the hill of Tamborio: from here the view sweeps towards the sea and the villas enjoy complete privacy; the silence is broken only by the song of cicadas in Summer and the temperature is ideal all year round. Upon entering the property, the pine grove frames a house with soft lines and plenty of windows. The bright living room has a wood-burning fireplace, the vestibule leads to the first master bedroom, with en suite bathroom, and to two single bedrooms with bathroom. A second double bedroom is on the other side of the house, also with a bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen completes the villa. From every window the view of the pines and greenery gives a feeling of peace and deep well-being. Walking among the plants you can see the annex: it also comes with a kitchen. Here the bedroom has a full and really beautiful sea view. Enchanting outdoors are spaces where you can relax in the shade of the pine trees looking at the sea line or to organize dinners and important events: you won't miss wide spaces and absolute privacy. By a ten minutes walk you will find a starred restaurant, a well known pizzeria, a supermarket, and the renowned Manari pastry shop. Villa Jovis and Villa Lysis are on the same direction of the house, and they attract thousands of tourists for their precious and spectacular locations.

Capri: Location and surroundings of this property

Capri is the most famous island in the Gulf of Naples, only 30 minutes from the Amalfi Coast. Admired by the great emperors, such as Augusto and Tiberio, thanks to its pleasant climate and fascinating territory, the island stretches for just over 10 sq.km. Mediterranean temperatures favour the production of oil, the famous limoncello, as well as the presence of extraordinary essences, which make the island a place of beauty in all seasons. Capri is rich in architectural monuments, left by those who choose it as a permanent residence. From the Roman Villa Jovis, through the Certosa, to the noble residences of the last two hundred years: Villa Lysis and the writers’ villas, such as the panoramic property of Munthe and the ingenius residence belonging to Malaparte. The road built by Krupp is the most well-known among those with a sea view on the island. In Anacapri there are beautiful routes: nature is uncontaminated; silence and privacy are very important for those who live there. The village preserves the most authentic island spirit, with local handicrafts and quiet streets. From here you can reach the Blue Grotto, a naturalistic miracle that charms all visitors by its colour and magic. Other walks lead to the ‘Small fortress route’ and to the chairlift of Monte Solaro. The beaches are beautiful in Marina Grande as well as in Marina Piccola. A lunch at Fontelina turns into a dip at the Faraglioni and a trip to the Punta Carena lighthouse allows you to admire incredible dives and the most beautiful sunset. ‘La Dolce vita’, however, happens in Capri, where the trend-setters meet at any time of day or night. The Piazzetta hosts the glamour of the people, who, since the 50s with Sophia Loren, have never stopped having fun there.
