In this peculiar period, the Brunello di Montalcino wine consortium does not give up and organizes the usual event to "welcome" the new vintage of Brunello in a particular version to comply with current safety measures. "Benvenuto Brunello 2021" is "OFF", this is the name that was chosen for this year's edition, in which it is possible to taste two dream vintages, among the greatest ever: Brunello di Montalcino 2016, judged at the highest levels by the most influential voices of international critics, and the Riserva of another spectacular and unique vintage, the 2015, but also the Rosso di Montalcino 2019, which carves out its part on the scene as "wine of the Millennials" with great potential to be discovered. In addition to Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino there will be the opportunity to taste Moscadello and Sant’Antimo.
The event started last weekend and will continue for all weekends in March (13-15, 20-22 and 27-29 March). On these dates, limited number of technical tasting sessions will be organized in the premises of the Sant'Agostino Complex. They will be dedicated to the press, bloggers and industry experts and organized in compliance with current anti-assembly regulations. For sector operators and there are some dedicated dates with tasting sessions by reservation.
