Orizzonti Verticali 2020 in San Gimignano with dance, theater and installations

Also this year in San Gimignano from August 27-29 will be held the festival Orizzonti Verticali 2020, an event dedicated to art in various forms, from dance to installations passing through the theater. The festival has always been inspired by the themes of generational confrontation for the transmission of knowledge.

Great personalities have left their "memories" in San Gimignano, intertwining their experience with our present, to imagine a future of theater, dance and art in the previous years. Starting from these testimonies Orizzonti Verticali wants to relaunch the value of culture as a primary asset of collective growth.

The leitmotif of the new edition of OV2020, completely redesigned, will be the writing, intended as the primary source of transmission of knowledge, because books give freedom and stimulate consciences.

In these three days, in addition to hosting deliberately fragmentary events, there will be a collective work built piece by piece throughout the event in the city center, in Piazza Duomo, where the public, artists, critics and citizens will be invited to give their own contribution by sticking pages of books. In the end, this space will be the stage of the final performance on August 29, with artists among the greatest exponents of Italian theater.
