The tower, 27.6 meters high, was restored by the FAI (Italian Environment Fund) and Saturday, April 16 will again be visited. The visit at the Tower and at hte House Campatelli has two stages, during the first one the audience is guided through a media path in the attic on the second floor, and consists of an introduction to the knowledge of the city and through its thousand years of history through videos on the walls and a reproduction in wood and alabaster of San Gimignano in 1340. in the second part of the visit the audience is free to move on the main floor and enter the intimacy of a family, browse photo albums, admire the paintings by Guido Peyron, painter uncle of the donor, and observe the rooms such as the dining room, the bedrooms, the living room and study, decorated with ornaments that tell real-life stories. Tower and Casa Campatelli will be open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday.
