Two weeks ago, our agency has reopened to the public, resuming our real estate consultancy and brokerage activities at full capacity. During the lockdown, we carried out an in-depth analysis of our local market and that of the entire beautiful Italian peninsula. Despite the initial shyness, we are experiencing a strong and constant growth in the whole real estate sector, which slowly returns to being a "safe haven".
The requests, despite an initial decline, never ceased and some of these translated into three sales in the first week of reopening for our agency. Tuscany once again proves to be on the highest steps of the podium for "quality of life" and this is possible thanks to the incredible harmony between nature and lifestyle. We are very proud of this result not only for our goal but also because we are aware that this, together with the restart of all the sectors of the Italian production network, will be a launching pad for the progressive recovery of our economy.
At the same time, Engel & Völkers activated a massive communication campaign on the European proximity markets. Our home is Europe and we have never abandoned, on the contrary, we have even enhanced the visibility on the reference European markets. From the end of May we will be present on the main portals of the Far East: thanks to the partnership signed with the giants of the Chinese and Korean real estate sector, we will also give visibility to our properties on these markets. In the summer, we will start a collaboration with portals and magazines specialized in the US market, thus offering our beautiful homes to US customers.
The virtual tours to the properties will be increasingly important and for this reason, we have already equipped ourselves with the best tool that the market makes available for the realization of 3D tours. We are sure that together we will keep our territory on the pedestal where it is by right thanks to all the unique properties that it offers.
