As a real estate agent at Engel & Völkers Brunico, my daily work routine is very varied and I love my job and the challenges that come with it. A high degree of flexibility is required, as the daily routine varies depending on the tasks, priorities and needs of my clients. From researching property prices and organising viewings to negotiating and closing sales, no two days are the same! Nevertheless, there are certain tasks that shape my daily routine:
My day starts early in the morning with planning my appointments. I check my emails and calendar to make sure I am prepared for everything that is coming up. I usually do this in my favourite coffee shop and try to strike up a conversation with the locals to make business contacts. After all, making new contacts to acquire new properties is an essential part of my job. Successful property acquisition requires a clear strategy and a thorough understanding of the local property market. To build new business relationships, I try to be present in my zone a lot. I walk the streets and hand out promotional material. Often, I already get into conversation with potential sellers this way.
"Successful property acquisition requires a clear strategy and a thorough understanding of the local property market."
In addition to acquisition activities, property viewings and customer enquiries, which I carry out with ambition and pleasure, play an important role in my daily work. I show potential buyers or tenants the property and answer their questions. If the client is interested in the property, the first phase of the sales process begins. The owners are informed about the prospective buyers and a preliminary contract is drawn up. My aim is to ensure that both seller and buyer are satisfied and that the conclusion of the contract goes as smoothly as possible. In order to be able to advise my clients in the best possible way, it is also important to know the current market situation and to be informed about the latest trends and developments in the real estate industry. For this purpose, the Engel & Völkers Academy with interesting webinars as well as regular further training courses of Engel & Völkers South Tyrol - Cortina d'Ampezzo are available to me in order to constantly improve my knowledge and skills.
When a property valuation is due, I meet with the owner and conduct a thorough site inspection. I ask specific questions about the property, take notes and take photographs to ensure that I have all the relevant information to determine the price of the property.
After various field appointments, my working day usually ends in the office dealing with client enquiries and emails, as well as determining the price of the property and preparing exposés. I also take the opportunity there to prepare for a property presentation and to maintain my client relationships. In the process, I talk to my clients on the phone and record or update their search profile. The job is demanding and requires a lot of professionalism, but at the same time it is very satisfying to look into the eyes of satisfied clients.
Overall, my work as an estate agent at Engel und Völkers Brunico requires a lot of flexibility and organisational talent. Every day brings exciting challenges and tasks, but I am always ready to give my best to ensure that my clients are guaranteed the best possible experience.
