When apple trees blossoms are covering the countryside in a white dress and people meet up todrink and “Aperitivo” everyone knows that summer is around the corner!
You realize summer has arrived, when temperatures drop below 25 degrees just during the night. In Bolzano, everyone has its own special way to refresh his body and soul. Today we’re going to take you on a quick journey through a perfect summer day in Bolzano!
08 am – While some sunbeams are tickling your nose and the smell of fresh coffee arises, you wake up, and while you are looking out of the window you already know that today the weather is on your side! (Well, it will be on your side on an average 300 days in the year).
9.30 am – After a quick breakfast in your favourite coffee bar with a fresh orange juice and one of those sweet little tarts, you check the weather forecast: 30 degrees? Nothing special for Bolzano! Let’s leave the city for some refreshment – Let’s go up to the mountain Renon!
11 am – After the rideup to the Renon with the famous cable car – you will feel still impressed bythe pyramids and the nice view on the city of Bolzano and its surrounding vineyards– you start to feel refreshed just on the top of the mountain.
11 am – After applying the sunscreen on your body, you let the sun kiss you on the river of the lake Costalovara. This is the perfect place to refresh yourself with a jump into the water!
1 pm – Lunch time! Let’sgo to the famous Restaurant 1908 in the “Parkhotel Holzner” – a regional menu with a stunning view on the mountains Latemar and Schlern is waiting for you.
3.30 pm – Chu! Chu! There is a train arriving, the train circling the mountain! Jump on and enjoy breath-taking views and the stunning atmosphere. It will also bring you back tothe cable car!
5.30 pm – Back inBolzano! Can this day even get better? Sure! – You see the amount of AperolSpritz and Hugo drinks on the tables of the bars – and you decide to join in!
7.30 pm – After meeting some of the locals, with a list of hot spots to visit during the next days you decide to have dinner in the old town in the recommended restaurant “Vögele”.
10.30 pm – Back home! With a glass of regional wine, you sit on your balcony, thinking about this amazing day, looking forward to live the next adventures!
