South Tyrol is an area which definitely experiences each of the four seasons to the fullest!
Where it be snow capped mountains in winter, a skiing holiday in the world famous Dolomites, warm wine or „vin brulee“ at one of the various Christmas markets, South Tyrol has something for everyone in winter!
Spring arrives and so does a burst of colour with the abundance of flowers that bloom! The mountains are green and vibrant it looks like the land is covered in giant broccoli!
Summertime is the perfect time to discover the many lakes in South Tyrol. From lovely hot days at the shores of the lakes and ponds to invigorating afternoons at the heart of the Dolomites! Where it be Lake Caldaro, Lake Braies or one of the many lidos there are lots of places to discover!
The real star of the seasons is Autumn. The diverse range of colours from orange to pink, red, yellow and brown. This season is just breathtaking as you follow the leaves that fall and the changing of the colours all around you. When the apples are picked and the chestnuts are roasted, the beautiful signs that autumn has arrrived in South Tyrol.
