Trento is the capital of the Autonomous Province and special status region Trentino Alto Adige.Trento is a city rooted in art and history, where the Italian and Mitteleuropean cultures meet. Every winter hosts the Christmas market, one of the most charming scheduled events of the season.
Trento offers visitors its richly historical and artistic heritage all year around. Molveno Lake has been nominated the absolute "Best Lake in Italy" for the last years. It is a natural oasis at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites and Paganella. Molveno was defined by the poet A. Fogazzaro as a "precious jewel in an even more precious casket ". It is considered a jewel of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and, thanks to its waters and its beach, awarded in 2017 five sails on the Legambiente and Italian Touring Club’s BlueGuide for the 4th consecutive year.
Fai della Paganella offers amazing views and many opportunities for those who love sport
such as mountain biking, climbing and, for ski lovers, we find a very well-equipped ski area and slopes for each level of difficulty.
Even Andalo is considered a true paradise for those who love sports and is a well equippped tourism and sports resort, offering 25 ski lifts and 50 kilometres of slopes or downhill skiing.
Near Trento City is located Monte Bondone, also called Trento's Alp. Monte Bondone offers a spectacular view of the mountain ranges and peaks of whole Trentino.

Valle dei Laghi and Valle di Cembra are famous for the production of high quality wines and grappas. The Piana Rotaliana has been defined by Cesare Battisti as “the most beautiful vineyard in Europe”. Here is where Teroldego, the prince of Trentino’s wines is produced.
Trentino is also the land of the most famous sparkling wine Trento doc, a wine that can be comparing with the best French Champagne.
