The luxury real estate brand brings together top advisors to identify key opportunities in changing market

Engel & Völkers hosted its Private Office fall summit in Chicago, bringing together the brand’s top real estate advisors in markets throughout North America, Italy, Germany, France, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, and England. The event included a spotlight on economic and luxury trends, best practice sharing, and market opportunities, and celebrated new inductees into the exclusive group that represents two percent of the global brand’s real estate professionals.

Mitchell Zuckerman of Art Market Advisors joined the event, representing a strategic alliance between the two companies. Sharing art market trends, consumer insights and parallels between high-end real estate and art, Zuckerman showcased how Art Market Advisors can support Engel & Völkers advisors and their clients in art valuations, consultations and sales.

Jonathan Woloshin of the UBS Global Wealth Chief Investment Office provided an analysis of today’s real estate market, highlighting a slowing market with key differences between economic patterns of today versus the financial crisis of 2009, including stronger underwriting standards, shifting demographics, existing equity in homes, and new migrations patterns.

Our Advisors Emiliano Conti from Venice and Flavia Dutto from Lake Maggiore & Lake Orta also joined the event, representing two of the Italian top locations, creating a very strategic cooperation and sinergy with all the international colleagues. They rispectievely presented an analysis of these two italian real estate market, highlighting the strong investment potential and the infinite opportunities that Italy can offers in terms of tourism, lifestyle, internationality and historicity.

Private Office also celebrated the induction of 13 advisors from the Americas, recognizing extraordinary business results supported by the highest levels of competency and client service. Inductees benefit from exclusive global marketing and networking opportunities.

    Out of more than 16,300 real estate professionals who represent the Engel & Völkers brand in more than 30 countries, only 270 advisors worldwide have been selected to carry the title of Private Office advisor. To qualify for Private Office, advisors within the Engel & Völkers network must be nominated by their broker and show consistency in significant year-over-year production numbers. To assess their market expertise and notable service quality as real estate professionals, clients are also asked to comment on their service experience. Nominees are then reviewed by a selection committee to confirm the designation.
