The maximalism

After so many years of reign in the real estate world, it seems that the Scandinavian minimalism has given way to its legendary opponent: the maximalism. The year 2018 will no doubt be marked by the advent of extravagant interiors. Highlights: patterned wallpapers, audacious sets of textures and vibrant vintage furniture.

Pantone already announced it, 2018 will be labelled by « Ultra Violet », a purple shade described as « provocative and thoughtful ». In the design world, we are seeing a strong return to colour which goes together with the maximalism of the 1980s. The strong tones will now be your unparalleled ally to express your personality in a living space.
