The countdown is on: the traditional Schueberfouer starts in 9 days to make way for almost a month of festivities in the Grand Duchy. Every year, this great funfair brings together more than 2 million visitors who come to enjoy themselves in the capital.
The city of Luxembourg is organising this great event on the 4 hectares of the Champ des Glacis, transformed for the occasion into a magical little town.
But that's not all, between two attractions, the Schueberfouer also offers a gastronomic selection. For example, visitors can taste typical Luxembourg potato pancakes (Gromperkichelcher).
As for practical information, restaurants open daily at 12am, other attractions later at 2pm. The Schueberfouer closes every day at 1am, Fridays and Saturdays at 2am.
The funfair is ending with a big fireworkmarking the end of a beautiful Luxembourg summer.
