Digital Marketing Excellence - Optimal enhancement of your property
Matterport represents the latest advance in terms of online virtual tours. The technology developed by the company allows people interested in a property for sale to experience a virtual visit - whether it is a house, a villa, or an apartment. Matterport allows its users to move virtually inside rooms and floors to get a precise and concrete first impression thanks to the 360° panoramic view. A much more dynamic and realistic impression than photographs of a property can give. In addition, this virtual tour is supported by additional textual information to draw the user's attention to the salient features of a property. Thanks to Matterport, the future of real estate presentation has become a reality with Engel & Völkers Luxembourg!
Easy handling thanks to an innovative user interface
Property visits with Matterport 360° technologies allow users to make their own visit to their homes, according to their desires. For example, they can navigate through the different rooms themselves or follow a global visit itinerary. During the virtual tour, the strong points of the property as well as the salient features of the building are highlighted. In this way, users can discover, for example, what the floor covering looks like in the living room, or what appliances are installed in the kitchen... Thus, the details and strengths of the property are highlighted in order to give the customer an emotional and personal experience of the visit, which is a real asset from the first steps of selling a property.
The Matterport interface also offers different presentation options: The property can be explored from an internal point of view where the user navigates as if he was actually moving around the house, villa or apartment, by clicking with his mouse in the different rooms. The ergonomics here are comparable to the Google "Street View" service. VR (Virtual Reality) technologies demonstrate how forward-looking the Matterport concept is, as this technology offers great potential in the IT industry. The last of the three visualization modes is the "dollhouse" mode. From this perspective, the property for sale is presented in its entirety, like an open "doll's house", i.e. visible entirely without its roof. This view is particularly effective when it comes to getting an overview of the size and layout of a property. It is comparable to a 3D plan and allows to visualize in a global way the living space of the visited property.
