IMI 2018

The Municipal Property Tax (IMI) will decrease this year in 52 portuguese cities.

The municipalities agreed to the IMI Familiar with the purpose of benefiting families with children by giving a discount according to the number of children.

The access to the tax reduction is only destined for personal and permanent residence. In the Algarve, the municipality of Albufeira, Alcoutim, Aljezur, Faro, Lagoa and Lagos decided to grant the reduction.
