Óscar Larrea has been appointed general director of Engel & Völkers Madrid and replaces Paloma Pérez, who since January 1st, 2019 directs the operations of the brand's Market Center and is part of the Engel & Völkers International Executive Committee.
Since its inauguration in November 2013, Paloma Pérez and Óscar Larrea have participated in the Madrid MC, which currently has more than 400 consultants and a portfolio of 2,000 properties for sale and rent.
"We are absolutely convinced that after the success obtained by Paloma Pérez at the head of the business in Madrid, Óscar Larrea will consolidate the strategy carried out, facing new challenges that will allow him to turn Madrid´s MC into the first billing Engel & Völkers center in the world", said Juan-Galo Macià, executive director for Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
Also, the objective is that "the MC of Madrid continues to be the benchmark of real estate brokerage with continuous innovation and excellent service as the main axes of the activity," says Larrea who, for this year 2019 plans to achieve a growth of 25% until reaching an intermediation volume of 22 million euros.
From now on Paloma Pérez will direct the operations of the MCs of the brand and will be part of the international executive committee of the company, which includes the executive directors of different countries such as Kai Enders (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Anthony Hitt (USA). ), Juan-Galo Macià (Spain, Portugal and Andorra) and David Scheffler (France).
In 2019, Engel & Völkers will open the 15th Market Center in the world and among the openings that are foreseen for the next years will be Athens.
