Festival Med 2023 – 29 Jun to 2 July em Loulé, Algarve

MED is a World Music festival, an already European reference, a differentiating concept with a strong identity that has allowed it to achieve high levels of international notoriety. Every year, at the end of June, the Loulé Historic Area is invaded by sounds from all over the world, but also by colours, flavours and smells that reflect the cultural diversity that is the event's trademark. In addition to a musical line-up that brings to Portugal the best names in the so-called world music industry, this festival also involves a fusion of cultural events ranging from gastronomy to plastic arts, street animation, handicraft, dance, theatre, cinema, poetry, activities for children, workshops, conferences and much more, with a clear objective of promoting interculturality and promoting the union of peoples and tolerance.

Without doubt one of the highlights of the summer events season in the Algarve is Festival Med in Loulé. It celebrates Mediterranean culture and international music, with 35 artists representing 18 countries on 11 stages. Festival Med 2023 runs from 29 June to 2 July.
